Defend Public Schools and Build a Stronger LTISD!
DID YOU KNOW?
- Incumbents, Robert Aird (place 6) and Keely Cano (place 7) - who were selected not elected to the board - have voted to BAN BOOKs. That's putting culture wars ahead of education.
- Since last year's Voices for Progress (V4P) endorsed candidates were elected, the board hasn't banned any more books. That's defending public schools!
- In the last year, new school board leadership - endorsed by V4P - helped cut the budget deficit by 50%
- Strong school districts don't happen by accident. It takes focused, data-driven leadership...by leaders who listen, make the smart decisions, and do the right thing. A strong school board really improves local control of public eduction!
- The last two elections were decided by less than 300 votes? Your vote really matters!
- Early voting starts April 20th. Election day is May 2nd!
This year V4P is endorsing Tiffany Bennett for place 6 and Natalie Nugent for place 7 for LTISD School Board. They put students and teachers first! They believe in real freedom in education, not book bans.
Voting locations and days/hours
Bennett and Nugent support:
- Responsible budgets aligned to student needs
- Strong academics and quality education for ALL
- Integrity, transparency, and accountability
- Teacher retention
- Data-driven leadership
- Keeping your tax dollars in LTISD district
- Keeping politics out of the school board

Who is V4P?
This is truly a grassroots effort, funded by people who have no political ties but just want to support public education in LTISD. We don't pay fancy political strategists to do the work. We don't pay people to put up signs and door hangers. It's all volunteers. You can learn more about our financials here.
