A huge congratulations to Tiffany Bennett and Natalie Nugent on their victories in the Lake Travis ISD school board election. This outcome was never guaranteed. From the beginning, our efforts were true grassroots organizing—neighbors talking to neighbors, families stepping up, volunteers giving their evenings and weekends—up against an established political operation with significant funding and a seasoned strategist. What started as a small group of concerned community members has grown into a strong, organized movement focused on putting students first.
